Home Staging Riverside County, CA

An AR Fairytale to Remember.......................

Once Upon a Time........

12/12/06 - Property Owner (Queen) from Murrieta, CA contacts me via AR to schedule a home staging appointment to look at staging a 1800 sqft vacant home (castle).

12/13/06 - Meet with Queen at castle.

12/14/06 - Email staging proposal to King & Queen.

12/15/06 - King & Queen are happy with proposal.  Schedule to meet both on 12/16/06.

12/16/06Royal Highnesses ready to move forward.  I advise them that I will be away on vacation for the holidays 12/21-29.  Will begin work 1/1 and finish on 1/4/07.  Contract signed and deposit paid.  :)

1/1- 1/4/07  -  Castle is fully staged.

1/6/07 -Castle is listed.

1/7-1/12/07 - The castle gets an offer and counter offers!!!!

1/13/07- I go to the Open House(Ball) with fresh flowers and cheese platter in hand.....BUT wait no one is here.  I kid to my husband(prince) that maybe they already got an offer!!  We laugh and go home.  I contact the Queen to make sure everything is alright.  Here is what the Queen wrote:

Oh NO! I am so sorry!  We actually have great news!  We got & accepted a
decent offer on the house already!  We are faxing it back tonight & start
escrow!   That said... I am 100% confident that the staging made the
difference
for us & am extremely satisfied & will recommend staging to
anyone I know selling a home. This was the third offer since we officially
finished & listed the house on Monday. Needless to say our Realtor is
amazed...So much for a "slow market" huh? Don't even get me started on how
we almost lost the deal & I ended up doing a taboo & calling the other
realtor directly to make it happen.

THAT said, I think we should leave the house as is for a bit until we are
sure this deal is going to close. They are strong buyers it seems... but I
won't be sure until we get further into the process. I will keep you up
to date on progress of course & I want you to know that you have my
permission to showcase your work to whoever in the mean time.

Thanks again for everything & I am so sorry I didn't call you sooner.

Leslie (Queen)

This Fairytale started on 12/12/06 and finished on 1/12/07 Exactly one month after this story started via AR.  This Fairytale never would have happened if I didn't join AR and meet some wonderful people that helped me with my Staging Business!!  Thanks especially to craig schiller.  If it wasn't for Craig this Fairytale never would have come true!  Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  :)

Hi Janice - I just love a Fairy Tale with a happy ending!  You did a great job and you have worked hard to get to this point.  Congrats to you!

BTW - is that some of your own inventory?  Very nice furnishings!

Are you posting this on your Localism.com?  You should!

Awesome staging job, Janice!  Multiple offers and a contract in less than a week --- it doesn't get much better than that!  You are off and running now!!!

Janice, Congratulations on a job very well done.  That letter from your client better be on your website.  You can't buy publicity like that.  I agree, this should be on localism!!

Thank you all for your nice comments.

Sarah - I love B&A pics too!

Val & Virginia - How do I post on Localism??  I tried but I must be doing something wrong!  I am hopeless with computers!!

Tina - I wish for many more like this too!  My reputation is also on the line if a house sits.  I try my best to make sure the property sells quick and for lots of $$$$ !!!

Sandra - Love being the Merry Maid(Home Stager).  I have taken many Royal Subjects (Realtors) to view my work and have heard that a sword fight may be in the near future.  I will keep you posted. :)

Judy - Thank you.  Coming from you that means a lot to me!

Marci - I thank Craig for teaching me how to take great B&A's.

Virginia - Great idea putting the comments on my website.  My website is really bad so I prefer people look at AR! I am currently looking for a website builder.

Really good work Janice. Home Staging is so fulfilling...sometimes better than a box of chocolates!

If you post just to "consumers" it shows up on localism.  That is what I have been told anyway.

Sheron - Thanks for the compliment!  Coming from an expert like you that is very nice to hear.  Yes, it is "sometimes better than a box of chocolates!"  If not a close runner up!  :)

Val - Yes, that is all my own inventory.

Virginia - Thanks. I will try that.
