Beige-ALL-holic. Yup, that's me!

Hello my name is Janice S. and I am a Beige-ALL-holic. :(

There I said it!

Yup, call me BORING if you want to......but I am here to say when it comes to Home Staging

"Beige is the way to go!"

Yeah, I know BEIGE is not EXCITING...kind of BLAH BLAH BLAH.....

However, when it comes to SELLING what is probably your BIGGEST INVESTMENT you need your property to appeal to the majority!

Home Buyer's LOVE viewing a MOVE IN READY properties!  Who wouldn't? :D

Last thing a Home Buyer's wants to do is PAINT before moving in to their NEW HOME.

So keep the property neutral (BEIGE) so Home Buyers can move in instead of moving on!

Check out some of our BORING BEIGE Professionally Home Staged properties:

Murrieta Home Stage  Murrieta Home Staging

Murrieta Home Staging  Murrieta Home Staging Dining Area

Murrieta Home Stage  Murrieta Home Staging

Murrieta Home Staging  Murrieta Home Staging

Winchester Home Staged Formal Rooms  Winchester Home Staged Master Bedroom

See, sometimes it pays to be humdrum BORING!

Keeping listings neutral helps Home Buyers imagine their furniture and accessories in the space.

BEIGE helps Buyers MOVE IN instead of MOVING ON!

Bottomline....BEIGE ALL THE WAY! I promise...you won't be sorry!! :D

Janice - I love your home staging.  Although the 4th row, 2nd column is just a little too beige for me, it still shows clean and comfortable.

What great photos you have posted! Not boring at all!

Andi - Thanks girlfriend! Awww shucks, you got me on that pic!  I think it was the editing photographer (me) that messed up on the editing due to trying to tame the light coming in from the blown out window. My bad...not the BEIGE! :)

Ralph - Thanks so much for the compliment! Boring beige is here to stay!

Janice,

There's nothing boring about your beautiful beige.  Lovely work!

Posted by Kate Jahnson, Home Stager (Home Stage Home) almost 7 years ago

Janice - Trust me, you are the antithesis of boring!  I love "boring beige" because it's a backdrop for hot red, zingy orange, moody blue - you've proved it all here.

A 12 step ladder?? I guess you do have to get that beige up high on occasion!

Posted by Robert Rauf (HomeBridge Financial Services (NJ)) almost 7 years ago

Janice - I love your work and it is certainly not boring.  We have an ongoing joke about how most of our staging jobs end up beige ...but hey...beige sells!

Posted by Wanda Richards, Shows Great Home Staging (Shows Great Home Staging and Web Solutions ) almost 7 years ago

I recently consulted on a vacant.  He had everything painted beige before I got there, except the 70's wallpaper in the foyer and breakfast area.  He did end up having the wallpaper textured and painted but left the foyer.  I kept at him to do the same.  I found out from painter, he liked the foyer color (red) because it matched the front door.  I staged it assuming everything would be neutral, oh well, it worked, but the red wallpaper is the 1st impression.  Sigh...

Wanda - Thanks Girlfriend! Exactly beige sells!! Nothing boring about that! :)

Posted by Janice Sutton, Home Stager - Temecula Murrieta (1st Stage Property Transformations ) almost 7 years ago

Cindy - Sigh w/ ya!  I love red and have it in my kitchen and dining room. However, if I was selling I would be painting boring beige!  Hope Buyer's can see past a little red.

Janice, you are so right --  it's about selling the home, not have the buyer move on.  I love the photos and the beige is not boring at all, it makes the other colors jump out and looks inviting.  I am curious, though, are there different shades of beige you use?

Posted by Pamela Seley, Residential Real Estate Agent serving SW RivCo CA (West Coast Realty Division) almost 7 years ago

Pamela - Thanks for stopping by my blog! Yes, I do have a few shades of beige that I have used in the past.  Lately, I have a couple of fav's so I let my client pick from them! :)
